Dad’s Meatloaf

Heavenly…

Ingredients:

2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg
¼ tsp. each celery salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper
½ tsp. salt
3 hard boiled eggs
4 slices of raw bacon

Mix it and fix it:

Beat egg and mix with ground beef.  Add spices and mix well.
On waxed paper, shape beef mixture into an oval.  Place hard boiled eggs on top of beef mixture.  Cover eggs with the beef mixture and form into a loaf.  Put raw bacon on loaf.

Place meatloaf on a baking pan in oven at 350 degrees for 1 1/2
hours or until bacon is crispy and meatloaf is done.

Servings: about 8 slices

My dad created this meatloaf recipe and it is really delicious. When you slice the meatloaf, you’ll get a slice of the hard boiled egg inside it.

It’s really good the next day cold on white bread with catsup.
