Very cool whip!
Ingredients:
2 3 oz pkgs. strawberry Jello
2 cups boiling water
1 ½ cups cold water
2 cups Cool Whip
Let’s mix it up:
Dissolve the Jello into the 2 cups of boiling water. Stir in 1 ½ cups of cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Using a hand mixer or whisk, blend in the Cool Whip into the thickened Jello.
Spoon mixture into a 5 cup mold. Chill until set, about 3 or 4 hours. Unmold and garnish with additional Cool Whip and/or fresh or canned fruit if desired.
Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
This recipe is from Cool Whip. The Cool Whip came in a reusable fluted gelatin mold with the recipe included. This recipe is quite a few years old, but it’s still a big favorite of mine.
I like strawberry Jello, but you can use whatever flavor you prefer, of course.
