They’re the nuts!! (and chocolate, and etc.)
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups corn flake crumbs
3 Tbl sugar
½ cup melted butter or margarine
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 3 ½ oz. can flaked coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Let’s get it together:
Mix first 3 ingredients together and press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle walnuts over crumb mixture. Next add the chocolate morsels. Then add the coconut and lastly pour the condensed milk on top.
Bake for 25 minutes in a 325 degree oven. When it cools off, cut into bars.
Yield: Depends how big or little you cut them.
If I remember correctly, this recipe is from a Diamond Walnut bag. It’s always been a big favorite. I’ve been making these for years, and everyone loves them.
