Lemon Lush cake

This is a 70’s recipe from the fundraiser cookbook from my son’s grammar school. Really delicious!

Crust:
1 stick margarine
1 cup flour
Mix margarine and flour until crumbly and pat into a 9×13 inch pan.  Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Cream cheese layer:
1 – 8 oz cream cheese
1 – 9 oz Cool Whip
1 cup powdered sugar
Blend together and spread over cool crust.

Pudding layer:
3 pkg instant lemon pudding
3 cups milk
Mix together and spread over cream cheese layer.

Cool Whip layer:
9 oz Cool Whip
Cover pudding layer with Cool Whip

Top layer:
Sprinkle 1/3 cup coconut, 1/3 cup chopped walnuts on top and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
